**Job Overview:**
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our healthcare team. The successful candidate will provide essential nursing care under the direction of registered nurses and physicians, ensuring the highest standards of patient care and safety. As an LPN, you will be an integral part of our patient care strategy, maintaining a supportive and nurturing environment for patients and their families.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Monitor vital signs and patient health, documenting any changes accurately and promptly.- Administer medications and injections as prescribed, ensuring compliance with treatment schedules.- Assist with patient hygiene, nutritional needs, and mobility, providing comfort and dignity in all aspects of care.- Collaborate with healthcare team members to plan and implement patient care plans.- Educate patients and families on healthcare needs, medication instructions, and doctor’s advice.- Prepare patients for examinations and assist during procedures as needed.- Maintain patient records with accuracy and confidentiality in compliance with legal and organizational standards.- Ensure a clean and safe environment by adhering to facility policies and standards of practice.
**Qualifications:**
- Valid state licensure as a Practical Nurse.- Completion of an accredited LPN program.- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is preferred.- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with a diverse team.- Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.- Empathy and a dedication to providing quality patient care.
